-10mm laterite gravel with fines, compacts into a firm driveway surface.
-10mm crushed laterite graded down to dust, so the crusher fines are left in. Those fines fill the gaps between the stone and let it compact into a firm, bound surface, the traditional WA red gravel driveway.
Lay it, wet it down and roll or plate compact it and it tightens up hard.

Sold by the cubic metre or tonne, delivered and tipped by our own fleet, or picked up from Hope Valley, where there's no minimum. Supplied to order from the Toodyay area, so tell us your tonnage and we'll confirm delivery timing. Tell us your quantity and suburb and we'll come back with a price.
Not sure how much you need? The volume calculator works out cubic metres and tonnes from your measurements and drops the result straight into a quote request. At 100mm deep, one tonne of crushed gravel (-10mm) covers about 6.2 square metres.

It weighs around 1.6 tonnes per cubic metre. A driveway 3.5 metres wide, 15 metres long at 75mm compacted depth needs about 4 cubic metres, roughly 6.4 tonnes. Use our calculator for your own driveway. That's under our 12 tonne minimum for a delivered load, so take a full load if you can use the extra, or collect it yourself from Hope Valley, where no minimum applies.
Yes, 12 tonnes on a delivered load. That covers all our gravels, quartz and basalt. We can go under that if you really need to, but the transport cost per tonne is a lot higher so we don't recommend it for a small job. There's no minimum if you collect it yourself from Hope Valley.
Lay it, wet it down and roll or plate compact it and it tightens up hard, since the fines left in the grading bind the stone together.
The minus grade includes the crusher fines, so it compacts and binds, while the clean screened 10mm has fines removed and stays loose.
Yes, it's used for gravel driveways, farm tracks, paths, trails and hardstand topping wherever a bound surface is wanted.
Laterite road gravel, also spelt ferricrete. Nominal 12mm, binds down hard for drives and tracks.
