Screened 12mm pea gravel. The popular mid grade for paths and garden beds.
The 12mm grade is the one most people picture when they say pea gravel: small, rounded stone that sits neatly on paths and garden beds without looking coarse.
Spread it 50mm to 75mm deep over weedmat for full cover. It holds its colour and does not break down, so there is no yearly top up like mulch.

Sold by the cubic metre or tonne, delivered and tipped by our own fleet across Perth, or picked up from Hope Valley, where there's no minimum. Supplied to order on our own fleet, so tell us your tonnage and we'll confirm delivery. Get in touch with your job details and we'll sort a delivery time that works.
Not sure how much you need? The volume calculator works out cubic metres and tonnes from your measurements and drops the result straight into a quote request. At 100mm deep, one tonne of pea gravel (12mm) covers about 5.6 square metres.
It weighs around 1.8 tonnes per cubic metre. Spread it 50 to 75mm deep over weed mat for full cover, so 10 square metres needs about 0.5 to 0.75 cubic metres, roughly 0.9 to 1.4 tonnes. That's under our 12 tonne minimum for a delivered load, so take a full load if you can use the extra, or collect it yourself from Hope Valley, where no minimum applies.
Yes, 12 tonnes on a delivered load. That covers all our gravels, quartz and basalt. We can go under that if you really need to, but the transport cost per tonne is a lot higher so we don't recommend it for a small job. There's no minimum if you collect it yourself from Hope Valley.
Spread it 50mm to 75mm deep over weedmat for full cover.
No, it holds its colour and does not break down, so there's no yearly top up like organic mulch.
