Screened 6mm pea gravel. The finest grade for pots, pavers and detail work.

Our finest pea gravel, screened to 6mm for detail work: pots, planter toppings, gaps between pavers and small courtyard corners where bigger stone looks clumsy.
From a few steps back it reads almost like coarse sand, but it drains freely and will not blow about. Not a paving base, as rounded stone this fine never binds.

Sold by the cubic metre or tonne, delivered and tipped by our own fleet, or picked up from Hope Valley, where there's no minimum. Supplied to order, so tell us your tonnage and we'll confirm quarry stock and a delivery date. Tell us your quantity and suburb and we'll come back with a price.
Not sure how much you need? The volume calculator works out cubic metres and tonnes from your measurements and drops the result straight into a quote request. At 100mm deep, one tonne of pea gravel (6mm) covers about 6.7 square metres.
It weighs around 1.5 tonnes per cubic metre. For a handful of pots this is usually a small quantity, so tell us your pot sizes or area and we can help estimate, or use our online calculator. Either way, a delivered load carries a 12 tonne minimum. If your job needs less than that, collect it yourself from Hope Valley instead, where no minimum applies.
Yes, 12 tonnes on a delivered load. That covers all our gravels, quartz and basalt. We can go under that if you really need to, but the transport cost per tonne is a lot higher so we don't recommend it for a small job. There's no minimum if you collect it yourself from Hope Valley.
No, rounded stone this fine never binds, so it's not a base material, only a decorative topping.
It drains freely and will not blow about, despite its fine size.
Pot and planter toppings, between pavers, detail landscaping and small courtyard corners.
