Sold by the cubic metre or tonne, delivered and tipped by our own fleet, or picked up from Hope Valley, where there's no minimum. Supplied to order, so let us know your tonnage and we'll confirm quarry stock and delivery. Ask about pickup times if you'd rather collect it yourself from the yard.

It weighs around 1.5 tonnes per cubic metre. At a 50mm cover depth, 10 square metres needs about 0.5 cubic metres, roughly 0.75 tonnes. Use our calculator for your own area. That's under our 12 tonne minimum for a delivered load, so take a full load if you can use the extra, or collect it yourself from Hope Valley, where no minimum applies.
Yes, 12 tonnes on a delivered load. That covers all our gravels, quartz and basalt. We can go under that if you really need to, but the transport cost per tonne is a lot higher so we don't recommend it for a small job. There's no minimum if you collect it yourself from Hope Valley.
