If you have got a pile of broken concrete, brick or asphalt sitting on a site, you have two ways to deal with it. Cart it away and pay to get rid of it, then buy road base back in and cart that on. Or crush what is already there and use it. The second one is usually cheaper, and it is what we do.
We have been crushing demolition material in Perth for three generations. Our impactor tracks onto your site, takes your stockpile and turns it into road base and aggregate you can put straight back under a pad, a driveway or a hardstand. If your site has not got room for a crusher, send the material to our Hope Valley yard and we will crush it there instead.
On your site. We float the crusher in, set up next to your stockpile, and crush in place. This is the one that saves the most money, because the material never gets on a truck. You avoid the cartage out, the tipping charge and the cartage back in on the replacement product. For a demolition job or a bulk earthworks site with a few thousand tonnes of concrete on it, on site crushing is normally the clear winner.
At our yard. You cart the material to Hope Valley, we crush it, and you take the product back or leave it with us. This suits smaller volumes, tight city sites with nowhere to set a machine, and jobs where the neighbours or the approval make crushing on site more trouble than it is worth.

We run a Rubble Master RM100GO! impact crusher. It is tracked, self contained, and built for exactly this: recycled concrete, brick, asphalt and mixed rubble. It takes material up to 400mm, the largest lump the feed opening will accept.
An impactor is the right machine for this material because it breaks concrete along its own weak points and gives you a cubical, well graded product that compacts properly. Light reinforcing bar and mesh in concrete is normal and we crush it. The steel comes out the other end and gets separated.
What stops a crusher is uncrushable material: steel sections, bundles of bar or mesh, machine parts, tooling, or anything too big for the feed opening. That is the one thing we will ask you about before we quote, because it is the difference between a clean week and a broken rotor.
Crushed concrete comes out as road base. Depending on how we set the machine and whether we screen behind it, one stockpile can give you more than one product. A load of waste asphalt commonly screens into recycled asphalt road base plus track material, so what arrived as one problem leaves as two things with a value.

We do not dry hire our plant. Every crushing job comes with our operator, because the machine is ours and the wear is ours. Normally we would supply everything: the crusher, the feed excavator, the operator and the consumables the job needs. Talk to us about your site and we will confirm exactly what is included before we quote.
What we need from you: enough hardstand to work safely, access for a float in and out, room to stockpile the finished product, and a stockpile that has been picked over for loose steel before we arrive.
Crushing building material at our Hope Valley facility is licensed by the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation under licence L6544/1993/11, Category 13, crushing of building material.
Crushing on your own site is a different matter. That sits under your own approval, not ours, so it is worth checking before you book a date. Tell us about the job and we can tell you what is usually required for a site like yours.

Not the ordinary stuff. Slabs and footings with mesh and bar through them go through the machine and the steel is separated out the other side. Heavy sections and bundled reo are a different thing and need to come out first.
Enough hardstand for the crusher, the feed stockpile and the finished product, plus room for a float to get in and out. If you are not sure your site has it, send us a photo or an aerial and we will tell you before anyone commits.
By loader scale, or by survey, which is what we recommend. Survey is the more accurate method on a variable stockpile, and we will agree which one applies before the job starts.
Yours. Crushing at our Hope Valley facility runs under our own DWER licence, but crushing on your site is covered by your own approval. Tell us about the site and we can tell you what is usually required.
Depends what the machine is doing. Give us as much notice as you can and tell us the window you need it in, and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
